Ce mur « anti-intrusion » construit en 2016 et long d’un kilomètre entoure la rocade portuaire. Haut de 4 mètres, il a pour objectif d’empêcher les migrants d’accéder à la rocade et de grimper sur les camions à destination du Royaume-Uni. Sous vidéosurveillance, il est équipé d’un système anti- franchissement, d’un extérieur en béton lisse et d’un intérieur végétalisé. This « anti-intrusion » wall, built in 2016 and one kilometer long, surrounds the port ring road. Four meters high, it aims to prevent migrants from accessing the ring road and climbing onto trucks bound for the UK. Under video surveillance, it is equipped with an anti-crossing system, a smooth concrete exterior and a planted interior. It has been financed to the tune of 2.7 million euros by the United Kingdom.
